Katie Parquet

About Katie Katie Parquet lives in Mill Valley, California with her husband David. She has studied art and photography for many years, but has tended toward the latter because of the freedom of expression and the freedom to roam that it gives her.  She attended the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising and the California College of the Arts.  However, she has found the more Intimate and focused photography workshop forum to be much more to her liking and contributing to her growth.  She has studied under John Paul Caponigro, Elizabeth Opalenik, Frans Lanting, Joyce Tenneson, and Jock Sturges.  She is currently showing her work at the Sloan Miyasato Gallery in San Francisco, California.  She has just completed a book entitled "The Fifth Sister."
